not a stretch here. once the mad man left sunderland this "asset" is not looking periously close to being a total loss for us. We must get him real games and i am also sure form his own point fo view the world cup is looming and he would like a half chance at going.
A couple of weeks back Rodgers said Borini is still in his future plans to, but needs match experience to build himself back up. Sundrland's bench is no good for that.
I think his reason for not playing for Sunderland is not because he is not good enough. It think he doesnt fit in there system. He is a wide forward, best in a 433. No wide forwards in Sunderlands 442 or 4231.
