Would love Will Hughes but he won't improve our league position this year. Definitely one for the future - fantastic talent.

I agree JS. I just think we'll get one opportunity to sign him and it's while he's still at Derby. Even if we aren't going to get the benefit now we should still jump in now (maybe loan him back until May). He's one of those players who just seems to be one step ahead of everyone else. Whether he'll be like that once he's in the Prem it's impossible to say but I want us to get him and if he fulfills his potential he's going to be some player.

If this move does materialise, let's hope it doesn't compromise the budget for the more experienced signings.

Several Premier League sides will send scouts to Craven Cottage on Monday night to run the rule over Italy international Alessio Cerci.

Torino winger Cerci is expected to feature for his national side when they take on Nigeria in London.

The 26-year-old has had a sensational start to the season, scoring eight goals in 12 league outings, and his performances have attracted interest from Manchester United, Arsenal, Tottenham and Liverpool.

Valued at £12.5m, Cerci struggled to make an impact during seven years at his first club Roma before joining Fiorentina in 2010.

After two years in Florence he moved on to to Torino, where his displays have led to senior international recognition.

I highly approve of this!!!

Cheers...

Hope we do sign a player or two of quality and that we do what we did last year and get them in early.
Also, depending on who we get in, would like to see Sterling and Ibe be loaned out for game time!

and ALberto and Illori. <ok>

ffs

i was looking forward to him scoring a hatrick against the bitters.

as Zingy said he is ok player, but not the level we require.

I think we'll need to see this on the lfc webstie to believe it.

however.... i am on record as saying that morgan simply hasn't got the electric pace to make it at the top level. I think we'll see n'goo gone as well fairly soon. I really don't think however we'd be free transfering a 19 year old mid season so unless there is a move in the offing for him and the club and simply not charging a fee?

Morgan is the traditional 'fox in the box'. This may have been good in the 90's and prior but the game has evolved so much. Strikers are expected to do more with the ball, better link up, passing, target man etc etc.
