Really disappointed with Moses - I thought he would add to our attack, a real impact player to come off the bench at least. If Chelsea were ever at risk of failing FFP, I'm sure they would announce a mega 'sponsorship' deal with one of Roman's companies to cover this.
i agree on FPP i think chelsea will get round it. its really down to how much they need to spend right now. thats all. if they needed to throw 100mil at it they would but they would throw away a few players to make it look good. i never understood the move for moses. I never got why rafa picked him then and i still don't get it. He's not doing enough and he's got 2/3 chances over christmas but failed to go do a thing with them.
I am not so sure mourinho has much control of it. there's a lot of guys i nthe mix there. if mourinho says he's to go i am not so sure he gets to say where. but then maybe RA will say.. and that means no to lfc.
just thinking what about Arsenal for Mata, but as likely as going to us i suppose as they are a threat to Chelsea for title.
Barcelona defender Martin Montoya has claimed he is in no rush to sign a new deal at the Nou Camp, amid reported interest from Liverpool. The Spaniard 's current deal with the La Liga giants is up in the summer and a number of clubs have been linked with a move for him - most notably the Reds - with managing director Ian Ayre jetting to Catalunya for talks. And reports earlier this week suggested negotiations over a new deal had broken down - adding further speculation that his time with Barca could be up. However, Montoya insists he is enjoying life at the Nou Camp and is willing to wait as long as it takes, before putting pen-to-paper on a new contract. He told reporters: "There is no hurry for me to sign a new deal. "Now I am at the best club in the world and I learn each day from Dani Alves. "I believe that the negotiations are on the way but without pressure." This week, his agent Josep Maria Orobitg claimed a number of top European clubs are keeping tabs on the Spain Under-21 international. He told Tutto Mercato: "At the moment everything is stopped [regarding a renewal with Barcelona]. "Possible future in Italy for Montoya? Every day I have to clarify the situation of Martin, who has been requested by three clubs in Serie A. "He also has enquiries from other major European leagues, not just Serie A." Montoya is one of a number of players to be linked with a switch to Anfield during this transfer window - although a deal for Ryan Bertrand now appears unlikely with Chelsea reportedly set to block any move.

The only reason Chelsea are probably concerned about Moses is that while he's not playing they're likely to get less money for him when they try to sell him in the summer. No way he's going to be staying and playing for them so were probably hoping he'd play a bit for us, put in some good performances so can get their money back from his transfer.
Hopefully, Chelsea will recall him to send him to someone else. That way, we get some of our loan fee back (assuming we paid something) and get rid of a **** player
16.45 GMT: We've got an update for you on Ryan Bertrand's situation at Chelsea -- the Chelsea left-back is reportedly keen on a move to Liverpool, but the Blues are reluctant to do business given the fact that loanee Victor Moses is getting little game time at Anfield. STORY HERE. http://espnfc.com/blog/_/name/liverpool/id/2275?cc=5901 The Moses situation wouldn't affect a permanent deal involving the young defender, though Jose Mourinho may be loathe to lending Brendan Rodgers another of his players if there is no guarantee of first-team football. That, and the fact that only four points separate the sides could make a move difficult for Bertrand.
**** all to do with this thread, but just remembering setanta sports used to have a programme similar to ssn (think thats where they got Charlotte jackson from but not sure) any reason why btsports don't have the same or similar channel any one know.
Supporters frozen out of watching Liverpool's 2-0 FA Cup win over Oldham at the weekend will be delighted to know that our 4th Round tie against Bournemouth or Burton will be shown live in the UK. Many fans felt like they were back in the pre-satellite days having to huddle around radios on Sunday to hear the Reds book their place in the next round due to a lack of coverage and no dodgy internet streams. The good news is that ITV will be showing the game, which is away from home, live on Saturday 25th January. Kick off is at 12.45pm. was a good match thread though
Liverpool and FC Basle are still locked in negotiations for Mohamed Salah. While both clubs continue to try and strike a deal, the player's family is on Merseyside viewing properties ahead of a potential transfer. Members of Salah's family flew in yesterday and are scheduled to leave tomorrow (Wednesday) unless the player is given the green light to undergo a medical. If he is, they will remain here until at least the weekend. KOPTALK sources claim that both clubs are still around £4million apart with their valuations of the player.

He literally just came out saying Barca is the best and he wants to keep learning from Alves. I wonder if someone either neglected to see that or just stirring it back up?
