I'm not going to poo-poo this potential signing as by all accounts he's a bright young prospect ...............

............. BUT surely we should be focusing on bringing in players right now to immmediately improve our first team for the Premier League run in ? :emoticon-0112-wonde

Agree, feel like we have made lots of signings for the future. Don't have a problem with that but yes we need to get in some first team players.

Agreed, myself and I think Bath raised this several pages back. Is this really the best use of our limited scouting resources right now?

I do wonder how good he can really be if it was only us and Derby seemingly offering anything? Hope he'll someday make the first team but this has 3-4 years of loans and sold to lower league written all over it again.

I do think it is possible to be scouting on multiple fronts but with so little quality seniors coming through the door (Thus far!) I think you could be right!

Absolutely General. Where are the players to strengthen the team and who are willing to fight for our PL survival????
 
Watford planning a move for Jerome Sinclair from Liverpool. He's got 6 months on his contract. Now he is a youngster I would love us to bring here, he probably could make an impact in the first team too.

Not sure it was me DH but as we seem to agree on a lot I can see why you would think so. In fact I do agree the resources needs to primarily be spent on the second half of the season.

One thing I would say is if we've spotted a lad who we think would be good to bring into the academy, if he has a professional contract then this is the only part of the year those deals can be done. I expect that the building of the first team and the academy are different exercises.

As much as I'm still hoping we sign someone that improves the team I just have a feeling nothing is going to come through for us this window.
 
O ye of little faith! You all wait and see, Colney will be awash with new WCT by the end of the month, you mark my words Norfacticos are coming! It's not too late to make europe, we can still do this!
