This one is whacky and even though I have done more fact checking on this than any in the past simply because its so whacky.

Yesterday it was revealed that we had a winger and a keeper almost over the line and was confirmed today by YEP. Also we were closer to Che Adams than last week but if things were dragging we had other irons. 1: Billy Sharpe and 2: A European former International striker who has scored 13 so far this season. I got a name from a contact in South of France who said seems unlikely but the more you look at it, the more sense it makes. I then went off and discovered that Mario Balloteli could be the player. Scored 8 for Marseille and 5 for Brecia in Italy. Cellino racially abused him a few weeks ago and said he can leave for free in January calling him a coon. Radz is also a mate of his and he maybe open to it and he works much cheaper these days because he told Brescia (home town club) he would do it for £1.5m and a bonus if keeping them up. Besides his ill fated Liverpool spell he is averaging a goal every other game. 29 pace and power and plenty of skill and still scoring 30 yard thunderbolts and all manner of finishes. Our mate Cellino may have caused this but Radz being a mate must help too. Had to do this long piece as just saying Super Mario could come.....
Suppose you could check European leagues and look for a former International who has scored 13 goals... I did and couldn't find one, well not one who you would think would play in the Championship

Just trying to contrast the words that come directly from Angus Kinnear's arse (he is a paid employee).

According to him we can't spend any more in this accounting period, up to June/July because of FFP.

It's total nonsense given how much we've received in transfer fee plus extra income from attendances, sponsorship etc etc....and we can lose another £39 million on top of all that.

Think this falls down on the basis that he has only scored 6 goals this season, given that he played for Marseille last season. Obviously if he had played for both clubs this season, then that would exclude him from joining a 3rd club this season as that would be against Uefa/Fifa rules

A quick check on the top 7 European leagues, gives 2 possibilities that comply with the scored 13 goals this season.

Andy Sorloth (age 24) on loan from Crystal Palace at Trabzonspor, Norwegian International, scored 12 league goals and 1 in the cup. Palace rumoured to have paid £9mil for him in 2017 and still plays for Norway so not him

Adis Jahovic (age 32) North Macedonian international scored 10 league goals for Yeni Malatyaspor in the Turkish league plus 3 goals in Europa League. Last played for his country in 2017 against Lichtenstein, Alioski, also played in that game too ;)

In addition you have Dario Tadic (age 29) plays in the Austrian League, 11 league and 2 cup goals this season, although he only played at u21 international level in 2012

Mario signed for Marseille in Jan 19 and left for the new season in Beescia and digging further he scored 8 in 15 for Marseille then 5 in 13 for Brescia. However that means 13 in the calendar year not season as the frogs were last season. The guy in France was adamant however but like you say hard to believe.

my nephew is now at Nice and it was a Nice player who told him as He knew he is a Leeds fan. Mario was a superstar at Nice before he went Marseille last season so however unlikely ..... be brilliant if true but still finding it hard to believe

The problem there Doc is that one of the 5 goals scored for Brescia by Balotelli, was only 4 days ago, so that means he only scored 12 goals in a calendar season.

I'm not knocking your optimism or the information you have been told, just that no matter how you look at it, the 13 goals fact does not fit Balotelli unless of course you are referring to scored 13 goals in the last 365 days, but of course I only did my brief research on the information provided in your post

Federico Santander striker for Bologna could be coming on loan with a view to buy. Paraguay player with a credible record throughout his career but his move to Bologna on a 4 year deal not working out and cramping his scoring? One to keep an eye on

Looks like De Cock is off to Den Haag on loan. Pity. Would have preferred to have sold him. :(

Another striker linked s Yohan Boli and the story goes is that he had agreed to sign for the top Qatari club on big wages but has spoken to Leeds and wants to come?
 
Odds on Andre Gray from Watford have been slashed overnight from 2/1 to 3/1 not done much since joining Watford but his previous 282 games he has a record of a goal every other game

You mean his odds have gone out from 2/1 to 3/1 ? or did they come in from 3/1 to 2/1 ?
