He really should, I agree - of note though, of the 15 goals he scored in those 8 years only 8 of them were in the League, he's actually bettered that one goal per season ratio here

Robertson is terrible at defending especially on crosses we have conceded many goals this season through his poor defending he's quick going forward but that's it our defensive issues this season have all been down both wings as Elmo can't defend either

But is signing worse players the solution?

Marc Wilson has only managed three cup appearances since Bournemouth signed him from Stoke, I'd be surprised if they even want a fee.

Gradel would obviously be a rather more exciting signing.

I think it's just about the money. He's rubbish at selling the club because he wants to cheat the buyers so he finds it easier to sell the players instead.
