selling snodgrass to one of the biggest relegation rivals would be unforgivable
Agreed but it is being driven by Snodgrass too. We offered a 3 year deal he wants longer more money and no relegation clause. I doubt burnley will get him.The Allams want their money back - Ehab ****ed up the sale - it was always on the cards that they would sell the higher value players to get their money back - the club are £100 million in debt - personally I'd be happy with no debt, we played well on Sunday without either Livermore or Snodgrass and Mason wasn't on the pitch for most of the time - we can still avoid relegation if we loan and sign wisely - its really not being driven by any of the players, its being driven by the Allams - they could easily give Snodgrass a longer contract - they don't want to

As I said, if you think Snodgrass is worth 20+ Million you're down right deluded.
If he wants to go Chazz, what choice do we have?
Well why did they spend £25m in the summer then?
Middlesbrough, West Ham & Watford all set to match Burnley's £10 million bid.
this thread!
no wonder the mods stay off here, I bet they are laughing at what a set of twats you hissy fitters are!
I can see a segment on Look North about how corpses have been found, death by heart attack.
He has 18 months remaining on his contract - the boy/the manager/some ****er gets him in their office and tells him "we're not selling you until the summer, now get out my office and get on with it" ........... or words to a similar effect.
I think it's a huge shame that we're selling Snodgrass (because of his goals and set-pieces), however, I feel like it is more than possible for him to be adequately replaced as, as some have mentioned, he was often poor defensively, sometimes turning away from tackles and often failing to track back. We performed well enough against Chelsea without him that I don't think we need to panic before the end of the transfer window, however, if City fail to find a decent replacement, then I'm more than happy/ready to get really pissed off about it.
Boro are now fav to sign Snodgrass according to Phil Buckingham
And if he refuses to play?
still 6 days to go.............................. will any of you lot still be alive by then or will you have died from blood loss?
He'd lose appearance money, win/draw/goal bonuses - he's an old pro, he knows it would cost him plenty.
