Has he been given a chance in that role?I suspect Henriksen's intended role is in the three behind the striker in the 4231 formation we played at the start of the season. Except Diomande and Snodgrass presently do the wide positions better.

He's got Mcormack i doubt he'd want Rhodes.
So how do you line up then to get the best out of Henriksen and Mason??

Anyone think we are desperate enough to offer him a 6 month deal?
Says Nugent is after a move? Worth it for us? Not quite PL class but good for us next season.
Is Sam Byram available from West Ham? Or is he injured?
Can play as a WB, probably better suited to it than Jenkinson.
I think this is already on the incomings thread. What's Naismith upto these days? Still at Everton? Worth a punt?
Does this need merging into the incomings thread?
He hardly looked full of enthusiasm in his prime, I carnt see a relegation fight in a team that creates next to nothing changing thathttp://m.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/38457080

Weve basically signed two very much attack minded players to play in a very much defensive system with very little possession , but then asked them to play as defensive midfielders
Better off buying a rightback
A striker
then a defensive midfielder
Players for systems not players to jam anywhere theyl hopefully fit
