I'd like Scott Hogan, reminds me a lot of Matty Fryatt. It'd be wise to think forward, as if/when we do go down, we won't have much of a budget so might as well use the spending power now.
He's got an engineering degree so i doubt it. While people moan like fck about them not spending in January. The money isnt there. We wasted the small pot of money we had in August on players we didnt need.
Cheap option would be to take a look at Omar Bogle at Grimsby - lots of Championship clubs after him and he single-handedly caused us problems when we played them in pre-season, even though he was isolated up front on his own.
Elmo has just been called up by Egypt for the ACN next month, be interesting to see if we bring a replacement in January.
I don't expect us to spend any significant money in the window, I think a couple of loans is probably the best we can hope for, but I don't understand your comment about 'the final amount of Sky money paid to us', we're getting almost £100m in staged payments through the season.
The final amount of Sky money is paid in May. It's structured throughout the year, why would we have got it all in Summer? If we had there wouldn't have been problems with transfer funds and Steve Bruce would there?
Brackets said could be wrong The jist of the post aint hard to grasp despite possible inadequences of fact Basically we aint spending with the allams in charge
