Bagan was ill yesterday so not injured but if O’Dowda is out for a while and Collins leaves then maybe cover needed for LB unless Giles can step up?

Yesterday and midweek showed City could do with some pace in central midfield and on the left flank.

Just watched the highlights of yesterday's games.
I was keeping an eye on Ashford.
Hard working and no little skill.
He tracked back to win the ball for a goal, then sprinted into space to receive a pass to be instrumental in the build up.
Rubin should take note.
Ashford will get more goals and assists. Gets in good positions and not afraid to have a crack. Takes the wrong option occasionally, but I'll give him that. Unlike one or two of our wide men he has a end product.

To be fair to the team, most of the goals and chances in the last few games have been well created. Good build up and players on the same wavelength. Encouraging.

That might get have been nice on the match thread <whistle>

But back to the possible new Norwegian Blue. I'm in a hugely positive mood about things at the moment but this has the potential to harsh my buzz. Surely we need people now that can hit the floor running and not another one that has to be nursed into place.

It's amazing how changes like Rino playing right back, Chambers in midfield and Ashford getting game time give us a more rounded squad where everyone wants to play. The stadium atmosphere has also changed for the better.

We still have Tanner, Bagan, Turnbull and, dare I say it, Ramsey if fit, to return.

While Leeds may give us a thumping next weekend, that needs to be quickly forgotten and for us to move on to the games against those around us.

The signing of this Norwegian guy will make us more solid in the middle of the park (might Siopis be on his way out) and a couple more acquisitions, with pace, could see us achieve mid table security quite quickly.

Hmm, Norwegian Blue, beautiful plumage. Hope the reason he can stand on his perch is not that he's been nailed there. If he doesn't settle will he be pinning for the fjords?
