I have doubts about Sorba the Leek. Plenty of effort for Wales but without much end product.

Remote has summed up our stock of wide players well and I don't think Sorba is any improvement on what we have. I don't think he is particularly quick either.

I would prefer a jet heeled young loaner from a Prem club who is eager to impress.
Agree another Codey Dramah

Looks like Swansea are robbing Coventry of 4m for Matt Grimes.

Good deal financially for Swansea but lose a few more and they are right in the relegation.

Why Coventry are paying that sort of money for a near 30 year old though is anyone's guess.

And it gets better.

Desperate for a midfielder, they're shelling €3M for Swedish U21 player.....
......then sending him straight back on loan.<doh>

Saw the report that reckons Sheff Utd and Birmingham are sniffing around the little wilting flower that is Harry Darling too.. by all accounts he 's out of contract at the end of season so they may have to cash in there as well...

Their board are beginning to make ours almost look competent!! :emoticon-0136-giggl

Good luck to him. He’s been a great player for us but I think he’s maybe past his best.
Timing wrong again. He didn't fit the play under Bulut, and seems more suited to our current style. Break up play, give it to the front 4. What he does for Greece.
With the reinvention of Chambers and the arrival of Mannsverk, his game time would be limited, even though his performances of late have been better.
What I assume is a decent wedge off the wage bill and maybe a fee. He get to return to his homeland. Win, win.
Good luck to him. Decent enough for us, even if he didn't hit the heights expected.

Loved his committment but he couldn't influence a game positively - he was an "Alamo" character who would have done well at Rorke's Drift Utd.

We've had far too many similar midfield destroyers at the club before him like Arter and Vaulks whilst seriously lacking in midfield creativity. Whitts was the last and Ramsey should have been but never was.

The very best of luck to Siopis whose personal cheery character probably outshone his ability and ultimately his influence on the pitch.

See my post on .Monday 6.19pm

You're welcome. :emoticon-0140-rofl:

Be good if we got some cash for him although part of the strange agreement when we signed him (it is said he paid up his contract in Turkey to join us) could have been that we let him go home to Greece if the right club came in for him.

Good luck to Manu. As others have said, it never quite worked out with us but you could never fault his enthusiasm and commitment.

Anyway that's one set of kit they can return to the 10 year old age group in the academy.
