I'm fascinated to see how Acun's impatience will blend with Rosie's inexperience. Rosie will need time and he might not get it right next year and I do wonder how long Acun will persevere if we don't have a good start to next season.

Recruitment will be huge, and the job Liam did in the summer at Derby without a recruitment team was brilliant, but there's an awful lot of pressure on him this summer internally

As with every season, the first 10/15 games with be key. I think recruitment in the summer will be more sensible, which should see us progress

If it's an extension of the January window, it'll be fantastic. 2/3 from January improve us significantly as a squad. I hope they don't bother with Ebiowei, it's the character of the lad I don't like more than anything

From the limited insight I've got ATM, we are looking at....

top 5 quality goalscorer that can play 35+ games.

Someone to sit next to seri

A quality first choice #10

Lb

More robustness out wide.

I think we'll see 2/3 of the current first team leave, along with a couple more fringe players

One hit one miss in January on the face of it with Connolly and Ebiowei so hopefully gives him some credit in the bank (given Connolly was always the more important one to get right).

I can see Pelkas, Doch and Tufan going in the summer.

I reckon it'll be Oscar, Tufan and Pelkas out the door. From what's been said, they're 3 our highest earners and I'm not sure they've been value for it.

You forgot Darlow too!

I hope we target some decent wingers, for me we need 2 at least. And I mean proper, natural wingers, not just players who can play there

Oscar just scored again on the weekend and has been just about our only uninjured player in an attacking position all season (him and Slater I'd say?), would be madness to sell him unless we get a big offer.

I was only talking the players Rosenior seemed to have a direct hand in recruiting.

But if we're targeting a top striker capable of playing proper minutes, his minutes get impacted heavily. I think for the wages we're paying we can get a better-rounded striker.

I don't see oscar going unless it's for very decent money, interest has cooled since Jan, but score another 5+ before the end of the season and who knows

As with last summer, I would hope we don't again make the mistake of ditching a first XI player instead of the depth first. Tyler Smith needs to leave well before we think about replacing/upgrading Oscar. We've also seen the effectiveness of two up top so not too sure I'd be so quick to ditch him. He was at his best when he and Tetteh played alongside each other which in and of itself requires another 1-2 options to come off the bench.

Attacking options of oscar/tetteh and a top 5 quality goalscorer would be nice to see next season, if we pulled it off then we'd potentially be the envy of many in the league

It's whether we can do that with FFP though, obviously, that would be ideal but otherwise, we'd have to wheel and deal.

I'm assuming Connolly will be staying too and we've got Allahyar as well

FFP will hopefully be offset by sales, and increased commercial revenue id say. Keep an eye out for Acuns billionaire friend at a game or 2 potentially between now and the end of the season

Surely that means Greaves will likely go?

It's almost certain there will be strong interest in him this summer now he's proved himself a very capable CB that can also play LB quite easily if needed, once he sorts out his pulling/holding habit to compensate for his lack of first 5yrds of pace, he'll be top class

Well as Tan himself said we've tripled our commercial revenue, so you'd have to think with higher gates as well we're sitting reasonably comfortably with income. Sell a couple of players and trim the squad a bit more (perhaps Sinik off the wage bill) and Pelkas' option not being taken up and there's easily scope for a new top-end striker.
