If the price is right you have to take it... the business model for this club has to be similar to others who have succeeded that way... IMO we have already made replacement in Tetteh who I dont think was bought to play where he is playing... I'm sure he would do a fabulous job in Oscars role as much as I'd hate to see him go. I'd hate him to go somewhere crap like Everton... he deserves better..

If he continues his form here until summer it won't just be the PL relegation candidates interested.

I don't think we will be asking anything close to £20m for him. I reckon we have quoted teams £10m-£12m with us willing to accept £9m-£10m. £15m can get you Neal Maupay etc. who has scored regular goals in the Championship and Premier League. It would probably get you Danny Ings too.

This maybe the case but Oscar is something of an exotic unknown compared to those pair. He’s big, strong, competing and contributing well to general play and banging in goals in his first 6 months in England, with years yet ahead of him.

This could be his flash in the pan or it could just be the beginning.

Plus premier league clubs have loads of money and no amount of money gets you Neal Maupay or Danny Ings in the championship.

Here we go again. We have a player who can score goals and we're already talking about selling.

We might get £10m for Oscar, but then we'd have to spend £10m to replace him, with no guarantee the new man will be better.

Wages have to be taken into account also. A £10m striker is certain to be paid way more than Oscar, so why would we take that risk?

Give him a pay rise whilst he's still here and we'll have something extra to play with.

If there are people at the club who read this page, rest easy, I'm not charging :(

That's perfectly believable, but what was being suggested was that Baz Cooper was copying stories from off here. That really isn't believable. He's not one of those gutter-tier aggregators who just rehash every possible link they find anywhere. He's connected within the club.
I do not follow 'Baz' or read his stuff in the HDM so not sure what he says really, the only time I hear of him is on here. I quite like Burnsy and if he mentions something I take it as credible and I follow some City accounts on twitter that share all sorts of stuff but take it with a pinch of salt. I get excited when I see players wearing a City shirt and holding a scarf above their head.

You should have told that to Arjen Robben he would've had a much better career
The difference is he had pace and was a very good player, when you don't have pace to me you have to be able to mix it. Longman is inconsistent some games good some poor and it's often down to a good full back knowing what you are going to do. How do you think he can improve his game to get that consistently because he as ability.

Reactions: Drew
Hasn’t he signed on loan at Wigan or am I dreaming again actually I think it’s Blackburn that are after him
