It won't happen but I really wouldn't be against Longman going out on loan. It feels like his minutes will be really limited over the next few months. It might leave us a touch short over the next couple of weeks but we've got players very close to coming back and once they are, it's just hard to see him playing
Allahyar out for at least another month, Tetteh still returning from a long term injury. He’ll 100% get minutes off the bench

Allahyar won't be another month, it was 4-6 weeks and he's been out a month already. We've got Konrad & Malcolm who will hopefully be in the 18 this weekend, then Pelkas and Tetteh within a fortnight, and Traore & Allahyar a little bit after. How does he even make the bench? With a bench of 7, there's only 2/3 spots

Yeah but now we have options so I don’t think we’ll see him for another 4 weeks

If you put a reel of Longman's highlights on YouTube, it would knock de la Fuente's into a cocked hat. Eg: his goal away at Bournemouth last season. Eg: the way he terrorised Rotherham and Blackpool when playing up front on his own. He's a good player with a wicked shot on him, and works like a dog. Some City fans love to put him down. Thankfully, I think Rosenior appreciates his qualities.

it is laughable really

people really think de le fuenta and malcolm who have about 20 games between them are instantly taking longman away from the team
its not fifa

I've never put Longman down but it's pretty clear that his minutes are going to be limited moving forwards.

He's started 1 of the last 4 and in that time we've brought in 3 players that can play wide.

If they aren't coming in to play, why would we bother signing them? Malcolm especially will walk into the side as soon as he's fit in the same way Connolly has

Probably the same people who 3 months ago thought Sinik was going to be the next Wilfrid Zaha or that Traore would be our no 10 for the next 3 seasons. Be interested to see what De La Fuente is like but the habit of immediately deciding any new player with no EFL experience is immediately going to be so much better than the players we already have is a bit silly. And gets repeated, year after year after year!

Yes, it’s a lot. You’ve also then got to work out if Tetteh/Connolly/Pelkas are better out wide then our actual wingers or if you leave them on the bench as Oscar is preferred up front.

It’s a good problem to have but I’m glad I’m not Rosie at the same time
Well Pelkas and Connolly are only loans and season end is not miles away,.... decisions to be made..
