Bit disappointing the news outlets are announcing these way before the club, especially considering we’re now owned by an ex football reporter and media mogul.

Not really surprising though as these things get out on to social media as soon as they happen. Friends, family, agents or hair dressers can release what they want and when, whereas the club want photos taken etc and sometimes want to announce more than one player.

I don’t really care, as long as it’s done.

Despite Acun’s vast media acumen, sadly, he doesn’t yet control all media sources.

Stories have been breaking prior to official confirmation at every club since I can remember.

These days, Deadline Day is Christmas Day for SSN and agent spiel.

I think the business today is a really good start. But I also think any chance of us getting the play-offs are gone. We've made a young squad even younger and we just lack that little bit of creativity, that sort of ability to win a game out of nothing which is why I was hoping Babel/Pelkas would be in the door.

January is a nightmare of a month to do business in, nobody really wants to move mid-season but we've strengthened a fair amount

Days not over yet.

Still think we will bring 2 maybe 3 more in today still over 7 hours to go.

We know Allahyar, Forss and Longman are all done, I'd imagine Ashby will be too.

Maybe if we're lucky we might get 1 more but who knows. All the signings so are 21 or under apart from Forss who's 22.
