Agree, he's played 102 games for us at 20 for comparison Bowen had only made 53. KLP could easily surpass Bowen if he has the right attitude to development he did. TWT

Yes KLP has a more well-rounded game than Bowen so could absolutely become the better player, but I worry the way he's going he's going to stunt his development.

That was really down to having to play wingback now some new players are likely to come in, he will be moved into a more advanced position, and I think you will start to see him flourish.

Any comment that Forest aren't comparable is laughable. They were in the bottom 3 when Cooper took over and over the last 10 we're 8th in the form table.

There's also a decent argument that players develop due to playing games. As KLP has played so many, so young that he should be further down the development path than the likes of Johnson.

Johnson's a better player, don't think there's much argument there. That's why Brentford went for him first

“We are very proud to have a player in our club that has seen an offer as big as that come in. I think they will pay more,” Ilicali exclusively told Hull Live.

“At this moment, even if they pay £20m I will not sell him.

“I want him to continue showing his talents with us.”

Lewis-Potter, like the majority of players, has aspirations to play in the Premier League but Ilicali says timing is important and he feels now isn’t it.

Should Lewis-Potter approach Ilicali in the hours before the window and ask to be allowed to move, his message is simple.

“I would say you are too young to go,” he said.

“In life, everything has a time and timing is very important and I don’t think it’s the right move now.

“We just bought the club, and we want to move it forward together.”

In other words, **** off Brentford

If someone comes in with 15-20 million for KLP, offer to loan back for the rest of this season, I can see them accepting the offer. I don’t see that money coming from Brentford though, Spurs most likely to make that kind of offer, but he’d waste away there, so it’s a tough one for all concerned.

Acun's just come out with a statement saying even if they're offered 20m he won't sell.

I'd want 17-20 million with an initial 18 month loan back with the option to recall in a year should they wish.

And KLP was outperforming him when they were down there. They're second in the form table since Cooper joined. He's playing alongside Lewis Grabban KLP is playing alongside Eaves. Of course you can compare but the reality is they're a team on the up we are a team in transition.
