Twitter Article with McCann on Regan Slaters transfer to City by Baz Cooper, appears to have been pulled, wonder if the transfer's off as well as McCann.

That was cleared up last night by Baz We were signing Regan regardless of McCann. It's in his main article on Shota I think

I've never heard of him and would imagine 95% of City fans haven't either.
Think McCann should be given some time with his team and the new additions
We know him quite well especially from his player career. But still I am surprised by the decision. He has no success to validate this move.

Be prepared for Şota’s interesting interviews/press conferences. He is really funny with counteresponses.

btw if emre belozoglu was available Acun would have brought him as the new manager.
Anyway, let’s believe in his judgement and see.

Neither have most of the people in the profession.

I would suggest they're generally one and the same. Bombing out of a couple of jobs doesn't constitute experience in my books.

Experience and success are not the same at all, and bombing out of a couple of jobs as you put it does constitute experience as people learn from mistakes and as for the bombing out of jobs as you put it he also had success which you forget to mention.

And he had success in his playing career and managerial career might not be la liga but success all the same.

If he learns from mistakes he would have demonstrated it in subsequent jobs. Which speaking of, when's the last one he had?

I'm glad you're being so optimistic about this appointment but this reeks of a bit of nepotism and not really appointing the best man for the job. As someone who knows him a bit better than you is also confused by the appointment, I tend to defer to his judgement.

I'm also concerned if he struggles in the role Acun won't have the guts to sack a mate.

Look the guy has had some success look it up as for picking his friend for the role if he thinks he can do the job then fair enough he is a football man himself he has always wanted a club now he has one he won't just let it fail if he can help it.

We as supporters have to be grateful he got us out of a bad situation and back him !00% and his judgements i have no doubt they would not just carry anyone who is just a mate.

Now i have to go work so if i don't reply again i'm not being rude or ignoring you.

I've looked it up, he's had a half-decent spell in Turkey which led to a bigger job he was sacked from after 15 games, after which he went to some very low quality leagues and has since been out of work. Hardly compelling CV.

We don't have to be grateful for him making bad appointments and just sit back as happy clappers. We can hold him. to account just like anyone would expect.

I agree with that.
Acun turns everything in his life into a competition and he always wants to win all of them.
He is too ambitious to win anything.(a complete gamer :)) So, he will never tolerate failures/unsuccessful people.
For us, appointing this manager seems quite a risk, but Acun has a great knowledge in football community. So, you should be patient and support the organization.

Do you think then that if Shota is not successful Acun would have no issues sacking him? If that's the case then I'm happy to be patient, as that's my main concern.
