I hope that during this window some contracts and extensions are prioritised.... Whatever GH realistically wants, he should get... did we have an option on Longman...? ... Bernard...?

Pure speculation, Acun's plane is now heading over Germany back to the UK, Serbian Striker Aleksander Pesic may be on the flight prior to a move to City on Monday. Pesic didn't feature in Fatih Karagumruk's 5-0 defeat earlier today.

He had a chat with Erling Haaland see if he fancied coming in on loan.

Bernard yes we do, Baxter yes, Longman no I don't think so. Brighton might recall him at this rate.

In an ideal world, we’d sign all of them permanently. Though I do still think Bernard is quite inexperienced and erratic at times, which could be costly in this division. I think Bernard and Greaves would’ve benefitted from someone like Curtis Davies alongside them but that’s conjecture. Still think we need a centre-back with Championship experience in our defence.

I feel Brighton would put an unrealistic price tag on Longman based on his form that we probably won’t match even with new owners. They’ll probably sell to another Championship club who are willing to pay a decent fee for him. In any case, he’s Brighton’s player and they hold most of the cards and it’s a win-win for them whatever scenario.

I think he's got a very good chance of making it in their first team next season as well. They certainly could do with someone like him.

I think he’s still too raw to be playing Premier League football next season and Brighton have a decent squad so it’d be hard for him to get into that team. I do think come next season he’s good enough to be playing football for a top-half Championship team though. Whether that will be us or someone else, I guess we’ll have to find out.

Looked very much like a quick return trip to frankfurt and back to Istanbul to me.

Maybe he couldn't afford the fuel....

Maybe, I think Graham Potter has a shout for top 5 coaches in England though so would be interesting how he viewed it.

Good shout..

The Longman situation is yet another example that highlights the gulf between what many will see as a Good player in the Championship and an honest lad struggling to find a regular spot in the Prem.

Longman's been fantastic for us and he might be a PL player one day but he's not there yet. I think we've a great chance of keeping him but the price is a little bit awkward to predict. In the summer he'll only have a year left on his deal so £2/2.5m would be a fair price

Whatever price will include a big sell-on fee

Longman is really a one trick pony ATM. He would struggle to get the shots in the PL.
Like him, but he needs stay with us for the season and maybe the next. He will develop with us and become a terrific player.

Peanuts at that price.

Assuming the manager in charge want him of course.
