The reasons for Longman's slow, indifferent start with us are well documented.
IMO, if we have a chance to sign him for a reasonable fee (with a sell on clause no doubt) we absolutely should.

Yes, three good performances in the last four. In fact would argue he was good against Stoke too, got into a good position twice but looked to square instead of taking it on.
Very impressed with Baxter for a young keeper hope we sign him.

Maybe both! I wouldn’t drop Smallwood at the moment his performances have been great, Docherty however has been pretty crap, constantly giving the ball away, stray passes, running with the ball to nowhere

I disagree strongly with that! IMHO Docherty works his nuts off for this Club,he must just about cover every blade of grass in every game.He breaks up play, builds play and fits into the midfield jigsaw as a tough tackling,no nonsense,popular Tiger.
I suppose we are all entitled to think what we want of each individual player and obviously I don't see him on the pitch 'live' every week (I do watch games live on a t.v screen though,maybe that's not showing me everything I need to see) .Maybe I'm missing something,maybe others think that too but I'm genuinely shocked by your comments on him...
I noticed that George is carrying a shoulder injury, last couple of games he seems to be in a lot of discomfort with it, so we definitely need cover for him
