One of the guys I work with is a Boro fan and he said he'd heard we were looking at him too. You'd like to think it's an addition to Moore but the f it is instead of then I'd sincerely hope the £3mill is an initial payment with at least two million more to come.....
You’ve got to think Moore’s going. This Boro guy was decent versus us but looking at his career record, it’s not inspiring. Need someone with more proven experience at this level - like Collins was supposed to be
Well I don’t know how true this is but I think it would be a backward step from trying to stop us playing hoof ball. On the other hand he might help us stay in the championship hmmmm
Need to bite the bullet and move forward. For all the good he did for us, the current situation we find ourselves in regarding player contracts, losses on signings and playing style is largely down to him. Please don't go back.
No way. Morison can only work with what he has been given. Sack him, we will be the Watford of the Championship.
https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/17465339/neil-warnock-manager-return-cardiff-bristol-city/ I think that they (the board) can't possibly be thinking of returning to the old ways. In my most humblest of opinions it would be a mistake.
@Ledleysleftfoot I've merged your thread with the transfer rumours thread as the info was already up there - don't want two threads discussung the same thing.
Please, please, please someone tell me this is all media b*ll*Morison is making good progress considering how the squad had previously been programmed to play. Youngsters coming through and more in the pipeline and he's trying to make us play football. His predecessors cost us millions. Grateful to Colin and like him as a character. But please, let's keep it going forward and not go back at the first sign of growing pains. Don't panic!!
It's got to be media nonsense, probably fuelled by Warnock's agent/associates. As mentioned on previous threads, I'm convinced Morison will get things right... We just need to have faith and patience and maybe say a little prayer or two that he gets it right quickly enough to stave off relegation. Some big games soon versus Posh and Barnsley.
The deal for the Boro striker is off as we want a loan, they want to sell. Glen at WoL now suggests Jordan Hugill on loan from Norwich. Presently with WBA on loan but the Baggies have just signed Andy Carroll so Hugill way down the order. Apart from one season at Preston 8 years ago and a reasonable year at QPR he is far from prolific, one goal every 5 games on average but nowhere near that recently. Another journeyman, no better than Collins. If correct we are getting really desperate!!!
Hugil is more of a donkey than Carroll, both living on past reps. Neither could hit a cow's arse with a banjo
