I’m not arguing that we shouldn’t use this formation, just that, as Col indicates, we are on very thin ice.
Col, not sure about SAFE in this league. It's mad, 2 wins and a draw and you could be near the playoffs. 2 loses and a draw and your in the bottom half.
Can't see us realistically challenging in our financial straight jacket for years to come, any progress we make and the vultures just move in and help themselves. The reality of being nothing more than a 'selling club'...
Reported that Little Smyth is going to be recalled from loan. Good news if true. https://the72.co.uk/217204/qpr-to-cut-short-23-y-os-league-one-loan/
Charlton are sending him back I believe, they have more loans than they are allowed to use and he has only scored once in 14 games, 8 of them starts. A Charlton mate told me he hadn't managed much there.
Kelman needs games somewhere and Smyth would be a better option (still not a great one) to chuck on for ten minutes.
Sean Gallagher @Sean_Gallagher9 · 31m Some #QPR transfer tidbits: - Club confident Sinclair Armstrong will sign new deal - Some interest in James Garner. Slim chance. Watford would have to agree to terminate loan. - MW wants Pritchard in - but that deal will only happen for right price ie not breaking wage structure
Ha, think Stefan does at least have more experience at a higher level, and has won things. If he can pick up his form from 3 seasons ago and further back, he'll be a good signing.
Think the sad reality is that any player available in Jan who would come to us is likely to be out of favour and more importantly lacking match fitness. Hopefully Johansen gets up to speed quickly, but at least he knows the division and from what we’ve seen he’s tenacious, uses the ball well and is box to box. Hope it works out because my word do we need it to.
