Yeah he hasn't seemed settled for a while, but I remember having a chat with you on the way to Hull game from the pub on my birthday.

He was settled but after his injury he has only had bit chances and knows he better than that .......problem is MP system doesn’t really fit what Charlie needs to play .......he is restless is an understatement......,,..and yep we met before the Hull game ....what a bore fest that was <laugh>

Yeah was brilliant birthday present for me <doh>

Only time I've ever left early, as soon as the Tadic penalty was saved I was gone <laugh>

Hey, I was with you both before the Hull game. I hope you are talking about the match <laugh>

In order of priority...

1. A top quality International GK
2. A Targetman in the mould of SRL/Pelle to give the attack a focal point.
3 A goalscoring, creative number 10.

Sell VVD and Bertie to finance these players fees and wages.

<laugh><laugh><laugh><laugh> Definitely not talking about you RAWMOK I have met you a few times now and you are sound as a pound.
But as TLL said that Hull game was as poor as it gets...........and I stayed to the end <yikes>.............TLL left early..........don't blame him actually <laugh>

Oh I want all three TLL, but Forster is costing us valuable points ATM.

Keeper isn't going to happen.

He earns too much money as one of our top earners and is tied in too. We're stuck with him until someone is stupid enough to buy him from us.

Les has too much power

Something that became clear when one or more of our youth players left because Les was trying to push them to sign with his son's agency. At most clubs (or outside the footballing world) that would be grounds for dismissal. To the best of my knowledge it had no consequences; he may indeed still be doing it.

I cannot understand why Davis gets slated in this board. I think he is one of the first name I would put on the sheet. That said, I agree with your assessment of the other players even if I would retain Long who always puts in a shift whenever he plays. He just needs someone to play off against up front. It must be frustrating for Gabbi but I am surprised that no one seems to have mentioned Cedric's crossing which always makes me despair. Oddly, the best thing this season is that we now have decent competition for the central defence whereas last season we were fortunate to have Maya and Stephens step up to the plate. I would like to see Boufal given more of a chance and surely he must have now edged away from Tadic in the selection.? The big problems for Saints in recent years has been a lack of contribution by the midfield amongst the goal tally.

He's getting on and too slow. We have better players in defensive mid and he doesn't operate well as an attacking mid. I said he needs to be replaced I didn't say he's ****ing useless. Also you open with not understanding why Davis gets slated and you close with biggest problem being a lack of goal scoring mids. I suggest you have your answer but choose not to see it.

Saint in NZ

Sorry, can't agree, We look a different team without Davis and not for the better. I concede that he should chip in with more goals but, overall, I think he is an essential component in the team. I think you could have said the same for Morgan - a brilliant player with an amazing ability to pick out players with passes across the pitch yet unable to contribute sufficient goals. In general, I would say that it is defensive midfield players who impress most in the line up. Those that have a more attacking mentality like Tadic are the ones we should be looking to replace or a least drop until we hit some form.
