Would be a bit strange as you would assume they want him to go somewhere and be first choice. Spurs fans I know rave about him and he would probably only go from being 3rd choice at Spurs to 2nd choice here.
Yes, I agree, I don’t know if there’s any truth in it but I can’t see how it would benefit KWP or Tottenham at all.

Does anybody else think we're actually going to sign anyone else apart from Guido? Me thinks not! So where's the money gone.......?

Not sure that’s the way to look at it. I mean we could spend the money, no doubt, but that would be a pointless exercise if it was on sub-standard options just to say “see, we spent the money”.

So the player that almost won us the league cup singlehandedly against ManUre is now surplus to requirements. I remember us all screaming for him to stay on if we wanted to win that final and now he isn't good enough for us? More like he is too good, too quick thinking for our current pedestrian style of play. Sadly this signals that there won't be a return to high tempo, quick, attractive football any time soon.
I know if a relegation dogfight results will count more than the style of football, but it wasn't so long ago we were spoilt with both at SMS

Spot on, not getting the team to be able to play to Gabbi's strengths has been one of Pellegrino's biggest failings so far. Manolo is a 15+ goal a season striker given the right service, Shane Long will never get near that as much as I admire his other qualities.
