True...... I suppose we can't just rely on Jorgi to stay fit as cover, but I would have thought that by coming to us someone somewhere has kind of guaranteed him 1st team football..........
Football Insiders article embeds what looks like a tweet from Wolves that says Saunderson has been given permission to come to us to complete the loan formalities. Could be fake I suppose. He looked like a good player when we played Birmingham, yet has only played for Wolves once in the FA Cup in 2019. Was on their Bench recently after his recall from Brum.

Can't see why Wolves and Sanderson want to come here and be a back up player ..who will get little playtime unless...( is Dickie leaving?).

Lawrence, from what I have read, no thanks.

He is at the top of derby's pay scale too..can we afford that? What would he do to our team spirit too?.

Bournemouth are in..and have money, and are in a better promotion place as well.

In fairness to Dave Mac he's only saying we're interested and have made an enquiry. He's not claiming it's a done deal or even likely.
Yeah I know but I'm pretty sure we'd know what his wages were or near enough. Just don't see us being interested in him unless there's a deal lined up for either Chair or Willock to leave. Dave Mc usually just doesn't bother posting these types of rumours, must be quiet for him too !

Exactly.
Can't see Wolves allowing him to come to us on loan unless he's going to get played.
He’s not that good, 22 loaned at Cardiff, Sunderland and Birmingham, very few games for Wolves so far. Unless there are other teams in for him they are better off letting him come to us and for us to pick up some of his wages than letting him sit around at Wolves.

I'm not saying he's particularly good.
My point is that surely they want him to have game time to hopefully improve?
May as well sell him otherwise.

He'd get games with us I reckon. Cup game(s) and when one of the back 3 is suspended, injured or needs resting. Be amazed if all 3 are able to play every game left this season. Saunderson can play RB too. Also a large bid for 1 of the 3 could be incoming too. Hope not they are playing very well as tonight underlined.

Sanderson is a good player with a bright future in the game, unfortunately i dont think that future lays with us. Its a shrewd loan though as our defence never gets a breather. Good competition which is what an ambitous club should strive for.

Bob, do you think Wolves will have insisted on him getting a certain amount of game time and if so, at who's expense?
