The pros:
  • would replace Chair whilst away
  • would likely be a significant improvement on Chair
  • might get a few more goals
  • would put bums in seats
The cons:
  • might disrupt the balance and discipline of the squad, although is probably more mature than he used to be (haven't heard any bad stories about him recent years)
  • might not be the best role model for younger players
  • might not have the motivation or care much (although maybe he would put in extra effort because of the good memories?)
  • is probably too expensive for us

He plays in a totally different position these days, as a playmaker but from deep. Spraying balls out ala Pirlo, his legs are shot and he can't dribble past players anymore. Would be nowhere near a like for like for Chair, love him obviously but he's not the player we're looking for !

Blackburn have pipped Forest to another Spurs youngster Markander, who has been ripping up their u23's
 
What ever happened to that lad Troy Parrott who was supposed to be the next great thing out of Spurs? He was also going to be the next great ROI striker!!!!! I know he bombed at Millwall, haven't heard anything about him since..........

Big unit and very strong, a serious amount of hype about him when we bought him. Recently went out on a short loan after playing for our u23's. Yet to be given a chance in the first team
