At the risk of looking stupid.....who the **** is BOWLER?

A young kid who played 45 minutes in the last game of the season at Norwich 2 years ago? Was snapped up by Everton and never got anywhere near their first team. Now at Hull , it was his cross that Lumley dropped for their equaliser...but is now injured....
Not sure we got £4m for him....

I agree that Wells is likely to disappoint at his new club unless they can provide the dozens of chances that our style under Warburton has created this season. Despite his energy and running (stemming from the fact that he really wanted to play for us to his credit) I still have more memories of his glaring misses than his goals TBH. The key point however, is that - unless Mlakar has not really been trying until now - Wells' departure leaves us without a natural goal scorer of any description in the squad. Clubs in that situation who also have a ludicrously porous back line are the ones you tend to find in the relegation zone most seasons. I'd like to think that Ferdinand and Hoos have something up their sleeves to cover this but it looks to me that the situation with Wells was unexpected so we may be in for a real struggle until the summer.

WLS are reporting Mlakar is off to Italy.
Smith returned to City

We are going to be short of players.

You'd think they'd have a loan or two lined up, if not this might turn the rest of the season into a survival campaign...

Mlakar, and Smith have not really done anything for us...no great loss.
Saves money

BFG...has played for us a lot, in a position with little cover and injuries...much more of a loss imho.

Something is happening in the background ...must be

Barbet back from injury and the emergence of Masterson from the shadows render him surplus to requirements I guess. We really are going bare bones. When the remaining loaners go back we will have to do some serious recruiting in the summer.
I reckon someone is on the way in that we are not privy to yet. I hope its Smithies!

We'll get a couple on loans in no doubt. I hope one of them is the young striker from Tottenham.

If BFG goes......obviously a lot to do with him not hitting it off with MW we have a serious lack of experience throughout the team now with Wells and Scowen gone. Left with Cameron and Rangel and they cant play every match. Just hoping they have someone decent coming in.....and still the saga of Eze and BOS tomorrow......could have 30M in the bank and too late to buy anyone!!!!!!!

Wow! A lot of exits.

As we are "comfortably" mid-table, perhaps we will try even more of our "youngsters"?

Forest in for Dwight Gayle on loan with view to permanent move if promoted.....
Carry on like that they'll have as many players as fans in attendance.....
