I think most underestimate the technical ability that Ashbee had.
A leader like no other we've seen, nor likely will see. But he could play too. Just look at some of the important goals he scored, including a handful of stunners.
I like Jones a lot. He's already a key player for us. Hopefully he stays for much longer and develops into our new Ashbee, although replicating him will be impossible.

He doesn’t though...that’s why Tom and a few others have got splinters in their backsides.

And we would keep one of these two as back up.
I really couldn’t decide who I would keep. I imagine more for his flexibility it would be magennis. tough call tho
 
I think Eaves is the better footballer and if he had had the game time Magennis had this season I think he probably would have scored about the same amount. But it is what it is. Think Eaves still has a year left on his contract so unless we loan him out he will still be here.

This season we were one 20 goal a season striker away from pissing this league, it would be nice to get one next season.

According to many on here we have the players but not the manager.

Over the next few games I suppose we’ll find out.

What I saw of him last year, and this year, he has a terrible touch, his ability to stay on side is bad.
In the 45 minutes he and Magennis have been swapped round earlier in the season, I think Magennis has come out on top!

Second highest scorers in the league this season and where the highest until last week, wilks is on 19 for the season, magennis 12, KLP 9.... I don't think it's the 20 goal a season striker we have missed this season. I'd say it our lack of consistency that's stopped us "pissing" the league
