I never saw the appeal of Josh King. He was like Cameron Stewart after the injury, pace for days but not much else. You could stick Amoo in that bracket as well.
A few more...trying to recall others that left and came back. some were multiple loans and some were on loan before or after being signed. some big names among them. feel free to add more. haven't had the opportunity/inclination to refer to books or the web. not counting players we gave a debut to and then loaned out.
paddy mills
pete skipper
keith edwards
billy whitehurst
warren joyce
dean windass
matty bound
alan fettis
john hawley
gary lund on loan a few times but never permanent
48 goals in 161 Premier League appearances suggests otherwise.
Based on what - his performances for us before he left? Some absolutely bizarre comments on here about max.
Nice kid and a proper city fan but he’shere for a short term deal and nothing more. I hope it goes well for him but he’s nowhere near as good as elder or Fleming.
Wilks does everything with his left peg[/QUOD Do you really believe Wilks could play as a defender or even a wing back
Obviously for usBased on what - his performances for us before he left?
Or have you watched his games for Vitesse?
You don't think he's developed as a player since he left City...?Obviously for us
If he’s improved he wouldn’t have been kicking his heels for the last year
Why do you think he has without seeing him?You don't think he's developed as a player since he left City...?
How strange.....
On that basis, signing him is a terrible decision....
Do you really believe Wilks could play as a defender or even a wing back
Based upon his performances reported by the sports press, playing for Slutsky... Perhaps the PL link is a little way off but in my experience, most players change. So rating him on his games as a teenager compared to games he played more recently for Vitesse seems odd.Why do you think he has without seeing him?
Strange
We flew him in on a drone, landing at an unnamed motel at the edge of Hull bordering East Yorkshire, this according to someone's mates brothers girlfriends taxi drivers mate in the kebab shop delivery driver, we failed to meet his requirements for an individual 'dolly bird' to keep him dry with an umbrella...It's late in the day...have we signed Messi yet?
We could have hired Steve McLaren to hold the brolly. For a pittance. Ehab screw-up again. We flew him in on a drone, landing at an unnamed motel at the edge of Hull bordering East Yorkshire, this according to someone's mates brothers girlfriends taxi drivers mate in the kebab shop delivery driver, we failed to meet his requirements for an individual 'dolly bird' to keep him dry with an umbrella...
I think GM likes Elder and Fleming and thinks ATM Elder is better. I for one agree with him.If he's fit by the end of his deal and gets a a few games in it will be a good signing. McCann loves Elder (although I don't share anything like his enthusiasm). He doesn't like Fleming. It all plays out over the rest of the season.
There wasn’t any press reporting only his agent doing it.Based upon his performances reported by the sports press, playing for Slutsky... Clearly something has happened in the last 11 months, but it is unlikely to be he's turned into a limited player from a promising one.
Heard Jack Marriott loan will be announced soon
There wasn’t any press reporting only his agent doing it.
Let’s hope he’s brilliant. He’s a genuine lad.
But if he was born in barnsleh and played for them before being released and going to vitesse then Not playing for a year we’d hardly be doing cartwheels would we? And ehab and darn borough would be getting grief.
Looks like Marcus Maddison is about to go out on loan in League Two (Bolton).
The **** him.
