Does it really matter, we won’t be signing anyone, he was probably watching the Aberdeen defender we keep bidding £20 for & then go back with a lesser offer.
If he's up there he maybe speaking with the player?
May as well try and be positive.
Anyone who thought 8 new players were coming in this window is deluded.

Anyone who thought City had a top 10 squad is deluded....... Any idea who said that Chazz?

Now is not the time to rebuild the whole squad (No idea who said 8) but we need significant reinforcements not 1 or 2 players. 3 or 4 are needed in my eyes to make sure we are safe.

I 100% maintain our squad is better on paper than The Blunts. Leon ****ing Clarke? He was dogshit before a brilliant manager got a tune out of him.

Spot on with both points

We may have better individuals than a lot of teams in this division but currently the squad that Slutsky and Adkins had available to them was not a top 10 squad. Key word is squad, you can't count injured players like Hernandez and Mason as they aren't available.

On paper we have an imbalanced squad with a lack of quality in some very key areas.

Of course we’ll never know but I firmly believe if we’d swapped managers in July then us and Cardiff would also have swapped league positions.

Its not the quality of the squad.its the commitment.more than half of them aren't all that bothered about the club and pull out of tackles or hide behind opposition players to avoid getting the ball.but lets be honest, if you worked for the Allams would you care.

Just going slightly O/T here but does anyone else find the timing of the Leeds game a bit odd ?

1) the day before the transfer window closes - Manager will be busy preparing the team.
2) Hernandez isn't fit - why not wait until later in the season if we're pinning all of our hopes on his return ?
Grosicki is injured as well and certainly wont be match fit (which would have been known when it was re-arranged)
3) we play Sat whereas Leeds have a weekend off - fresher legs etc

Oh **** it I'm kidding myself again.

reasons are:

1) it doesn't matter cos we aren't bringing any players in.
2) Grosicki's played his last game for us anyway and Hernandez won't be arsed
3) the regime is ****ing clueless

Precisely my view and why I think Warnock would’ve made the difference.

I’m not suggesting we ever would’ve got him this summer btw, my point is it’s not the squad.

Do we get to solely choose the date? Pretty sure we’ll be given just a few options at best.

We don't decide the rearranged fixture, the football league do. They couldn't give half a **** about who's available and who's not.
