I can't say I know out about hector. But I do remember the game he played against us for reading. He had a very good game. Things change I suppose.
Blackman was on fire forthem at the time, scored a cracker against us, went to derby and went ****e.

It's like when people say they don't want Grosicki in the team because he's lazy and contributes nothing. Apart from goals and assists. What else do they want from an attacking footballer, a complementary reach around?

It is probably bollocks. Was he at Scunny with Adkins?

I'm sure Adkins if he signs players will probably want players he knows and knows what they can do given how much **** we're in at the moment.

Now you know as well as I do that's a totally flawed logic.

Peter Swan on Stuart Elliott "I don't really rate him, I mean what else does he give us apart from the goals?". <doh>

My mate mentioned this.. do you recall aroud 10 years ago we were struggling in the championship at the wrong end of the table?

Yeah well Brown in a stroke of genius brought in Ray Parlour on a short contract.. the Romford Pele shored up defence by sitting just in fromt of it and we were saved..

Now there's this veteran at Man U not getting a game anymore who can spray passes around the park all day and give this failing team a boost..

Adkins, get on the blower to Warren Joyce and sort it out

You mean the guy who hasn't been playing whilst he was checked for a heart condition but who has been given the all clear again and will probably play a good chunk of the rest of the season for United? That Michael Carrick?

Can we keep the transfer suggestions on the transfer thread please.

    Particularly when they’re ridiculous...

Schweinsteiger, Sagna and Robinho are all out of contract. I'd imagine they'd all prefer a run out in China or USA but i'd **** my knickers if we could get them!
    Dreaming obvs!

I genuinely can’t believe there’s a seemingly serious discussion here asking ‘why sign a player from a club doing worse than us, because said player must be part of their problem’.

I’m hazarding a guess here, but 50% of all transfers must be from a club in a worse position than the buying one.

My reason was specifically this signing from Birmingham, which it transpires is bullshit anyway - thank ****.

The amount of games remaining and the depth of **** we find ourselves in. We need someone used to winning - with a winning mentality. Not someone who is potentially moving from one team to another where the situation is EXACTLY the same.

As much as we need bodies, we need a mentality and attitude change, especially given the games we have left. The impact needs to be instant.

Nobody studied sports psychology? It would appear not!

Dean Windass from a ****, losing Bratfud side a division below us almost singlehandedly kept us up?

Personally I’d say what we need more than anything are a couple of old heads who have played 300 senior games. I was dismayed to see Nige say we’d put in an enquiry for a PL ‘young gun’.

Windass was scoring goals in a **** Bradford side. We brought him in to score goals - which he did.

Grabban from a **** Sunderland side would be an equally decent signing- he's scored goals. Let down by the rest of the side either defensively or in midfield.

I agree with experienced players required.

    Have we signed anyone yet?

The fact Ehab can’t given in to a kids demands from the Prem would say we are in trouble. Does Nigel take everything Ehab says as gospel?
