I expect Ehab to confirm in the Yorkshire post or some rare programme notes McKenna will be signing in 24 hours for 3 pounds in advance, 8 jelly beans if we get promoted, a bag of haribo if he gets a Scotland cap and 23 pence every 6 months for two years.

Best run football club in the EFL you know!

Too much sugar there.

Young promising local left back lost his way quite a bit.. Will be looking for a lower league loan quite soon I imagine after that display...

Arf

Not watched it but heard he's been dreadful again. Strung up like a kipper to give United the first and gifted the ball away sloppily to give away the second.

The lad is ****ing ****e really.

fats ... bit of an inside joke this.

The looney tune that owns the club, said he would sell the club 'within 24 hours' ..... 3 or 4 years ago. And we're still waiting and having to put up with this ****.
..... which just proves that tomorrow never comes (and that Allams are ****s)

Subbed at half time.

I've just seen both goals... the first <laugh><laugh>

I don't know what the **** he was doing, looked like he was having a seizure or something. He's got his arms and hands all in a weird place and stamping both feet like a sumo wrestler sped up 4000x, easy for Valencia to just waltz straight past him. Great finish mind.

The second is just ****ing awful, which sums Josh up perfectly.

He was never as good as some on here proclaimed him to be, he will have a pro career in sure, but it will be L1/2 at this rate

Are you talking about the Uefa coefficients? If so, what does the national team have to do with it?

Ah I got confused between national and country coefficients. It's determined by club performance in Europe (which to be fair has been ****e), not national team performances.

Is ths the Hull City Transfer Thread? No news of transfers on here it seems.

Boro are a prime example of what can happen with a decent owner.
"We're gonna be in the Championship? Better buy Assombalonga then, he's scored loads of goals at that level. Oh and while we're at it, get Howson in from Norwich and Randolph from West Ham, two players that know this league inside out and have performed at a consistent level. Full backs? Cyrus Christie from Derby obviously, the lad is on an upward trajectory and while we're talking wide players, that Braithewaite at Toulouse would be a great shout, we've scouted him thoroughly and we know that even though he's never played in England, he is just the type of player we need."

Meanwhile at City:

"It was rejected? Bid the same amount."
"What?"
"Just do it. Trust me. Then see who is fifth choice up front at QPR and get him in on loan."

But Boro's signings haven't worked. They spent £40m and are scrapping for a play off place. I don't think spending a tonne of money constitutes a good owner. It's daft and I'll never understand why they didn't spend like that when they were in the PL

They haven't I suppose, but their gamble on the previous manager didn't work out. I guess that shows the importance of getting the right man in for the job.

It definitely does, I don't think the players they brought in are particularly good either. Johnson, Shotton, Baker & Fletcher haven't featured much

I'll add an irrelevant anecdote to "this league's better than that league" argument.

An extended family member was top scorer in the Czech league a few years ago. Since then he has failed to impress at Sparta Prague, played for the champions of Luxembourg, been turned down after a trial with Ross County and played in the Maldives premier division.

Therefore: Czech > Scottish > Luxembourg > Maldives (although injuries MAY have played a part).
The Maldivians, or whatever they’re called, do like their football so he’ll be ok there

Tymon is 18. He'll develop and get better. Can't write a player off at that age, especially given the teams he's played against this season.

we could have bought Salah four years ago for £2.5 million but Brucie said no - useless fat ****
