Had to come eventually but just watching and listening to the tributes its quite emotional. A legend and an absolute privilege to have witnessed it all. Living over this side of the planet is different as a football fan but I am so chuffed to have seen him play in person. There will never be another one like him.

I first started watching City in 1962 missed watching them between 1968 until 1984 when i was away! the only words i can say about Vards is, he is the one and only Goat of Leicester City! just a all time great that brought so much to my beloved Leicester City.

That was some holiday mate! ... looks like you missed Franky and Keith Weller ... but you're not wrong... <cheers>

Lived in Cornwall, did manage to get up and watch them a few times, and Weller was my favourite but Vards as to be the goat! and it was worth paying the admission just to watch Elvis do his ball tricks before kick-off.

It couldn’t have finished better, could it? Apart from relegation of course.
I won’t attempt to eulogise over him as everything has pretty much already been said, but it’s going to feel weird next season seeing him in another teams strip. Who do we think he will go to?

10 years ago a Leicester City ball boy appeals for a penalty as Jamie Vardy tumbles ...

Yesterday that ball boy is the first to congratulate Jamie Vardy scoring his 200th goal for the club ... in the same game that he later scores his first PL goal ...

Kasey McAteer... Da Yoof!!!
