Maybe he wont - that's a fair point.

But Morata has all the ingredients I mean he's quick and technically superb for a big fella. And a lot of strikers don't start banging them in until their mid 20's.

Hilarious signing not suited to Arsenals style of play at all. Wenger is a right plum.

He will be making a very big mistake if he joins Arsenal,Wenger will do the same as the Dinosaur and not use him to his
full potential ! and he would just be a squad player for you.

If you take away the penalty goals vardy scored then he has less goals than giroud.

Now we are complaining we can't score goals on the counter or through balls.... And with him in the side we won't score many headers or have a hold up play to get the team up the pitch.

Vardy is a hoofball specialist. Arsenal play intricate football. Wenger is bonkers.

This signing will be a flop if it goes through. Guaranteed.

Wenger trying to do a Ferguson. Buy the best striker in the league last year despite his age to try win the title next year before he retires?

Worked with rvp, not sure Vardy will have same impact for you though.

RVP was a different class to Vardy. Rvp's form at the time was one of the best in Europe as well and Fergie brought him in exactly the right time. Whereas there is a high probability that Vardy will flop at Arsenal.

Sometimes a player has a blinding season where everything clicks and everything was perfect around him which made it much more conducive. But which cannot be replicated elsewhere. Arsenal is just too different to Leciester in everyway.

    Sure but..

26 goals in 38 apps for Vardy.
24 goals in 52 apps for Giroud.

    Chance Conversion:
    Jamie Vardy Leicester City 26.79%
    Olivier Giroud 20.69%

    Big Chance Conversion Rate:
    Jamie Vardy 45%
    Olivier Giroud 30%

Don't get me wrong I don't think Vardy is World Class but he would give the squad something different. I also find it interesting Vardy thrives on Lond balls and we just signed a DM (Xhaka) who is one of the best long distance passers in Europe.

We won't score headers or have someone to hold up the ball? Boo hoo. We really struggled without those facets to our game when we had Wright, Bergkamp, Anelka, Henry and RVP up front.

Just because that's about the only thing that Giroud can do, it doesn't mean it's something we need as a team and will miss.

If Wenger just brings in Vardy I would be a little disappointed. If he brings in Vardy plus someone like Morata/Higuain/Benzema then this would be a fantastic Summer.

Would be happy to see The Ox, Gnabry, Sanogo possibly even Walcott sold in order to make that happen.

How about if he replaces Walcott with Vardy and then brings in someone like mkhitaryan to play RW or even aubameyang as well?

If we are going for a short time solution then why not get Zlatan? For 20 million you can offer him a weekly salary of 384 000. He would come for 300 000. So in fact he would be cheaper than Vardy and surely score more goals (and generate more money for Arsenal).

Yeah I would be happy with that. Personally think he should replace the Ox (and the injured Wellback) with Vardy and add an Aubamayang/Higuian/Morata/Benzema.

Then it would be a brilliant Summer. I'm already very happy about the Xhaka signing.

I dont understand for the life of me why you want him as he doesnt fit your style of play. He isnt a good enough footballer to play how you play

This isnt sour grapes slagging him off. Vards can only play 1 way and thats at 100mph and thats how we play as a team which suits him down to the ground. Team play alot deeper against you compared to us which will give him less space to run into which is pretty much what his game is about

If you have signed him to play him on the wing then its pointless as Roy Hodgson should have worked out and why not just sign a proper winger. I cant see him doing to well for you lot but i do wish Vardy all the best if he signs for you

Spot on. Unless Wenger breaks the trend and plays him in a fast counter attacking formation, I can't see him working out for us. A strange signing from Wenger. There are more suitable players out there for us than Vardy.
