Jon Walters was similar when he was here, then he ended up in League Two for a couple of years with Wrexham and Chester and now he's starting every week for a Premiership side.

I will add, however, that Devitt earned similar praise from Darlington and Grimsby fans two years ago, and he improved massively. Too lightweight though.

I think Devitt has not been given enough credit for his usefulness as a wide impact player off the bench. He does get in some dangerous crosses and ruffles defences late on in games. I agree that if he can get stronger it could make a difference.
Would definetly keep him

"Look at John Walters, few seasons in the lower leagues did him no harm and now he's in the the Prem."

Great minds think alike! Posted this earlier in the thread!

Big fan of Devitt myself. He's skillful, creative, pretty quick, good technique and will only get better and stronger. Really hope he gets more of a chance when he's back.

Felt surreal to read the opinions about him in that Bradford forum.....:emoticon-0102-bigsm. They make him sound like Messi :)

I mentioned this on another thread already: Devitt fouled twice on Saturday, winning two penalties that were scored to get Bradford a 2-2 draw.
