I don't see why some people feel obliged to fork out £50 on the new shirt every season even if they don't like it. I've got a pair of home and away tops from the 90s/early 2000s that cost me £20 each off the internet, and I'm happy with them personally. The new training kit is pretty smart though.

It's daft of them to claim that it's a "nod to the history" and then totally disregard said history with the solid red back, which (as far as I'm aware) has never been a feature of any Sunderland home kit.
Think that's a league rule thing - has to be a solid panel so number is clear. Don't care what the strip looks like - as long as it's red and white stripes of some description- if the lads in them do the business. Getting close to the start now.

If people like it and like wearing the top then why not..If others don't like it or don't like wearing tops then that is up to them..

I'm an xxl and I assure you i'm fat. Think it counts as fat when you can't see your dick when you look straight down. <laugh> Hope Vince cares as little as me. Looking at his lifestyle I doubt he gives a ****. :p
Well I try
Since back from this holiday we are trying to eat we'll go for walks and keep of the beer.
Until tomorrow

My only concern is my lady is 10 years younger than me. I should shift some weight to prolong my life really, apart from that it doesn't bother me being fat.

You'll have all the blokes doing it by the end of the holiday.

Think an exercise will be the key for me. I quite enjoy healthy food so no problem there. But I'm not very active. Need to start burning some calories. Booze wise I'd need to knock the beer on the head but I love gin and can have two and a half Tom Collins for every pint of stella so switching to just gin will massively reduce my calories on nights out. Just need to get off my arse and exercise. I'm young enough to make weight loss easier so should get cracking before age really effects my mobility.

Can you exercise fella or do you have to do it on diet alone?

Can't exercise now only walk
I really don't diet but cut down on drink and bad food it's hard
I need to not sit to long but can't go out and walk all the time
I still wash the car and do a bit gardening but with my back it becomes difficult.
When I was your age I did press ups and sit ups and diet it took me only 4 months to loose weight then I did play football and it kept my weight low.
I still drank bottled larger.
In later life it became herder and only dieting would help
Which I did all my life
Now it very difficult to get motorvated because I have slowed down alloy over the past 7 years.

Cutting right down on beer and replacing it with spirits is what helped me lose weight and the better shape I got in the more exercise I wanted to do and the better my diet got. I have maybe one or two beers a week now and it's not ideal but damn they do taste good.

I suppose it's not good advice to say try drinking more spirits to lose weight but it worked for me, now I need to work out a way to drink less whiskey haha. Always some vice to deal with apparently.
