I can’t see us signing more than 5 or 6 maximum this summer if that and I’d say there are 5 or 6 who could go before Murphy.
Wasn’t your well well well comment about today though and a few players were worse than Murphy today.
He needs to be removed from the starting line-up, Gordon anarl the whinging scouse git. Miggy on the right, little Joe/big joe swappy thing they do on the left v spurs for me, Longstaff back in.
Thought Murphy was one of our better players in the first half, although he does have a tendency to piss about with the ball when he is back helping out the defence.
No mate it was about what we've seen from him in the main. I posted in this thread ibeasbt convinced and was surprised people were so fickle.
It's a weird fanbase always has been ... the fact the fans have been determined to chase Saint Maximin out the club while at the very same time have been suggesting Jacob should be kept is an latest example of such weirdness. Hopefully the new owners learn not to listen to the fans ... that is something Mike Ashley got right, but unfortunately he made bad ones himself.
Amazingly, I believe the Owners will not base their transfer policy on the fans views especially those on a forum which the Samaritan’s have top of their watch list. Max, we should keep, because he is a unique talent. Even as Max fan I can appreciate how frustrating he is and why some are at the end of their tether. For me, I can see progress in his style through Howe’s input but it’s not an overnight story but then injuries also keep interrupting. Murphy is simply not good enough. I won’t have a go though as his attitude is perfect and he always tries his best. When the time comes, and for me it’s this summer, I would thank him and wish him all the best. He really isn’t a PL quality player but he would be a good lower PL team squad player. But it’s inevitably misleading when posts talk about ‘Newcastle fans’, or ‘they’ etc as expressions such as these are vague, non specific and unclear in context. Better to qualify such expressions with others like ‘one or two’ or ‘ a few’ or ‘most’ etc to be more clear on what is being said. ‘Newcastle fans’ could be two people on Twitter.
What should I call them ? I mean it's fans there's no exclusivity there. It's been happening at the end of the day mate and you don't like me bringing it up and have decided to go after me somewhat in your post . I don't mind though you're a nice bloke.
I don’t think it’s just Newcastle fans, we just naturally read and see more from here. People in general are fickle
I’ve made suggestions about how to make clearer who or how many fans you’re alluding to in my post. I don’t mind you bringing it up at all. What I take issue with, and have before, is how you seemingly deliberately suggest it is all or most fans by being non specific. As I said, it’s misleading.
