It took a deflection did it not? I don't think he's the best in the league. He's got competition from Evra, Cole, Clichy, Kolarov, and if you include players who are normally played in a different position but are also capable at left back, such as Bale and Zabaleta, then there's no way he's the best. Top 5 maybe.

Yes he gets caught out of position,every left back does.
Bale isn't as good as Ekotto at left back,that's why he plays ahead of him because he plays better there.
Yep. It's funny when some of them go from being really good to not any more and suddenly realise they're on your 'level'.
