For me the boy had a stormer today.Looked solid with big Tone at the back.

I gather we are looking to sign him in the summer on a perm.

I for one hope so.

UTT.

He looked far more comfortable and assured today, i thought he played really well and for me was better than Gerrard was today. However the problem remains if we stay down why on earth would Leicester sell him to us? They have no need to sell him they have plenty of money and they could just keep him so that one of their rivals does not have a good player.

Hobbs was very solid today.....Evans and Chester in midfield played well also. Chester in Harper's role was very good....he times his tackles better and has more pace than Harper....need him in that role for last 4 games now Mr P.

I think NP needs to decide where he's going to play Chester and stick to it, that way we know where we stand.

I think he's been doing a good job in midfield and wouldn't want him to return to CB. If this is the case then we need to bring in another CB along with Gerrard. Hobbs would do for me but it seems the Leicester fans reckon its a no go.

I wouldn't worry about what the Leicester fans think, it's not up to them.

There's 2 automatic promotion spots. You could argue that it would be better for Leicester to have him playing for us against the other 4 or 5 clubs going after automatic promotion than it is to have him play for nobody. Can't off the top of my head think of the actual points situation it would create but the general point is it's easier to finish 2nd against 1 team on 89 points and 4 in the 82/83 point range than it is against 5 teams on about 85 (I think that's roughly the effect of us drawing away at 4 other teams compared to losing those 4 games)
