Agree, and hope that if he did wrong he's suitably punished. What's sad, is that I was relieved that the alleged victim wasn't a child. It's a sad reflection on society when that's your first instinct.

In the case of Adam Johnson, the parents had no idea where their daughter was on a school night ...
... at least you'd hope they didn't know where she was.
If guilty i hope he's punished.
Whilst i understand that the victims name remains anonymous surely the accused should have the same right lest the charges be unfound. A false accusation can kill anyones career, footballer or not

Yeah absolutely. Puts a “guilty until proven otherwise” spin on it.
Don’t know the ins and outs of the case. But the police always publicise these in the hope that other victims come forward. Look at Ched Evans!

They do but as I'm not on the jury I don't think what I am saying will make any difference.
I can't see many professional clubs having him on the books no matter the outcome of his trial. Not just down to this but other things in about him that I have heard!
