Hi all, this is my first post and first thread in one, I have been reading the forum for a couple of years on and off and hopefully my quest for information will result in me becoming a more active member.

Long story short, I have never lived in Hull but all my family has and still does, hence I am a lifelong tiger and get to about 6 matches a season.

I have always been aware that my great grandad played for hull but internal family politics meant that I have very little information on him or his time at hull. The only information I have is from my mum who has little interest in football and remembers he played for hull and Oldham in the early 1930's.

His name is Jack Diamond and that is literally the only information I have.

So whilst I know it is unlikely anyone on here will remember him as a player, I would be eternally grateful if people could point me in the right direction for finding anything out.

Thanks in advance, Diamond Tiger.

He played 1 game in the 1931/32 season. Div3 North. Played No9. Against Barrow at home, 26th September. Won 3-0, scorers - D. Duncan (2), Raleigh.

Hope this helps.

He's coming up in my list as John J Diamond

Great thanks, he comes up as John James Diamond on in the mad crowd. Not sure how that transpires to jack. Might explain why I have been coming up with blanks
