Really good buy you for you guys - great match of player to team too. Wish he'd stay, as most of us rate him fairly highly - but good luck to anyone trying to get in a first 11 with Schneiderlin and Wanyama in the mid berths. Jack will keep your team ticking very nicely. If his contract wasn't so close to running down, doubt we'd have sold, so not at all an unwanted player - just financial reality. Fresh back from injury too - a nice non-knackered pair of fresh legs. He'll do very well.

From BBC :

The former Chelsea trainee, who is the son of former Cardiff boss Alan Cork, has made 15 appearances this season.

Surely the fact he was our manager (albeit briefly) would have more relevance?

Anyway, I would be very happy with this signing (at the right price)

How often does this happen?
We're all chuffed and the Saints fans are chuffed for him and us too! :)
Supposed to be around £3m a bargain but he'd have been free in the summer so fair enough.

Hi lamb,how are you doing?

Of all the player's who have been recently linked with The Swans',Cork is the only one who gets my adrenaline flowing. Hope the deal can be made.

Please happen! If it happens, we should scrape together the £5m for Carroll this window too. Cork and Carroll at the base of the midfield with Gylfi ahead has all the nutrients that Britton, Bodde and Gomez had, albeit they were only together until Bodde got injured, but those 3 months were midfield perfection. Cork, Carroll and Gylfi could give us years of good service between them.

You will now have to put up with his dad bitching and moaning on twitter every time Jack doesn't play. Hard working player tho, which is always useful in a team.

Great signing for you guys, I'll be very sorry to see him leave. Sincerly hope he doesn't play against us on Sunday?

Not much chance of that happening.
Being a Welsh team means we have lots of hoops to jump through.
All transfers have to be ratified by some International organisation; The Welsh F.A.;Burger King; Argos; Amazon;plus countless others.
If he signs this week,he may get a game by the end of April. <laugh>
