Absolutely, They have been larging it up big time lately and now the famous smack in the gob with a wet fish.

Their server's up and down more often than Andy Murray. He finally won his match today after going 4-2 down in the 5th set.
Apparently they have not crashed but rather their site has been attacked. Sabotaged if you like.
They have been advised to contact the police about it from someone who had a similar experience with their site and got that saboteur prosecuted.
There was a rumour going around that it was possibly people from this site that had attacked the ja606 to make sure it wasn't running when the BBC site closed. Which would be criminal.
Some people even pointed to tricks that this site had already pulled.
Again though, that is just rumours.
It seems the 606 wars have begun.

no war mate, we had a spamfest a few weeks ago from ja606 members but I know the admin over there had nothing to do with it. I certainly know nothing about any attack from here, we posted on BBC606 to ty and tempt people and thats all we did, sorry.
a DDos attack is really easy to do, 1 program and it does it for you, not saying anyone on here has done it, but its not hard these days.
PS: i ****ing hate DDos attacks, my site has been hit twice in 2 months, and its a right PITA, all you can really do is wait it out.

Ja606 crashed as I was signing up so guess I joined not 606 instead and seems much better so far

Welcome to the site. If there's anything you want to know, do what we do and post something on general chat. We'll do our best to give you a bum steer.

If someone has attacked ja606 it certainly wasn't me or anyone who is linked at an official level with us. I appreciate you must be frustrated but please be careful about insinuations. There a lot of people who are dead set on using ja606, I've seen them discussing it and I'm sure they are going regardless of a couple of hours of downtime, I've seen people forgive us for being down after attacks and our own server issues, I'm sure it will be the same with you. Your 606 wars may have begun but I have no interest, you'll not find any post or comment I've ever made in which I've put down ja606 or anyone who chose to use it.
Now can I ask our users to stop gloating - and worst of all stop promoting other sites to those who are not aware of them.
