Iwobi

No-one knows. Wenger's frozen him out completely and no-one can understand why because he was performing very well for us. The only reasons I can think of are that Wenger wants him to be sold, they've fallen out or he's not working hard enough in training (possibly all three!) because there is no way in hell that Walcott should be getting into the team ahead of him.

Just when it looked like he was becoming an effective team player, Sanchez was fit again and he stopped playing - which I don't think is fair because his performances have been surpassed Sanchez's based on this season. I don't blame him if he leaves in the Summer, with the way he's been treated. Sometimes it seems like Wenger can pick players based on their names rather than their form. Ramsey also being a prime example. I'm hoping he just doesn't waltz his way back into the side when Elneny and Coquelin have complemented each other so well.
Wow, very surprised. Was sure someone was going to say he had picked up an injury (it happens to you guys a lot!) - although I did notice he was first off even though he looked a threat.. Don't like players being dropped for established players when they've done well. We had that with Wimmer losing his place to Vertonghen, even though he's barely put a foot wrong.

It's a funny one. On the pitch he couldn't put a foot wrong imo so I think something has happened behind the scenes. I don't think Arsene minds being proven wrong as he held his hands up with Coquelin who we were effectively freezing out. I'm of the opinion that it's Campbell's agent (who I also think is his dad) who is meant to be a notorious tw*t. Or it could of course be any of the reasons Brunel lists!

Either way I totally agree with him and it's frustrating to see someone perform so well and then get dropped instantly. Players should have to earn their way back into the team through hard work. No way certain players deserved to start over him. I think Arsene fully intends to sell him in the summer so hopefully those performances should increase his fee a bit. Classless way to treat a player though if it's the case.

Mind you...won't be surprised if Theo goes either. Shame he couldn't put in a few good performances himself to increase his fee.

I'll keep the Ox. He can improve. He has the right ingredients, his problem is his execution.

I think his problem is his limited understanding of the game and bad decision making. He tends to run into cul-de-sacs, he has lapses of concentration, defensively he finds himself out of position all the time, he is a liability in close proximity to his own goal.
It looks like he is unable to adapt, he has a simple game plan that he always follows, and when it does not work, he does not know what to do and his game collapses.
He is technically OK and physically very good, so he has potential, he just needs a different team, that are playing more direct football, and a different manager, who would give him clear, simple, strict guidance rater than letting him "express himself", what Wenger prefers to do.

Arsene does not seem too keen on playing campbell but then again when he was hardly on form,he was blooded into the team...

I think it has to do with the way we play,we cannot afford more than one direct winger with Ozil in AMF,the other winger should be someone like Rosicky/Pires who can act as a direct man sometimes but most of the time be available for 1 touch playing and playmaking with Ozil, that helps us be fluid and create more..whereas with 2 direct wingers we are too much a hit or miss team.
