I'm genuinely curious - suppose you beat us and got to Wembley - do you genuinely think you'd sell out your allocation? We all know you wouldn't - because you're a small club too. You're just slightly bigger than us, that's all. But we've won better trophies. And we've been to Wembley four times in a year! You haven't been to Wembley four times in your history! ;)

Yes I think we would sell around 30k if we get to Wembley.

How many are you bringing tomorrow?

Typical small club mentality Col, you're fixated with how big the crowds of other small clubs are. It's about the glory, not whether you can get a few thousand more supporters!

I agree, but your support is embarrassing. 11,000 home fans for a play off semi?

Ben Watson day today lads, a year since we won the FA Cup! Only little clubs have failed to win the FA Cup

We have actually!

Jesus, you're so grandiose! We've dealt with dozens of hostile away games in recent years - hell, we went to City with Uwe's return and 40,000 City fans saying that it was the best atmosphere they'd had since moving to the Etihad - and we did them. We had 50000 Arsenal fans at Wembley and they couldn't beat us. There is nothing that 17000 of you can work up that's going to faze Wigan.

Not grandiose by any stretch of the imagination. A full Loftus Road at night really has to be experienced to believe, you won't have had anything like it so close to the players and their nerve will be tested. If you come through it and win you'll have earned it...

Right.......early night for me. Early start tomorrow to get done before I get up to Loftus Road.

Nice bantering with you Saucy. You coming down?

Col you're a rational bloke, we ARE a small club - incidentally we're bringing about 1000 tomorrow - but surely you can see that all this vitriol and bullshit aimed at little Wigan is rooted in a deep seated inadequacy about your own club? Not you personally because I've read loads of your posts and you're clearly above that - but you must get embarrassed at how personally some of your fellow supporters take our clubs relative size?

I'm ashamed to say I gave my tickets to a mate and told him to take his son. And in all seriousness - I genuinely am ashamed. But I have a teenage daughter who has GCSES all week and has gone into meltdown, and her mother is working away all week. I decided to do the responsible thing and you've no idea how much it pains me.

"Uwe Rosler says the atmosphere at the iPro for tonights play-off game is the 'best he's seen in a while'. Wait till tomorrow, Uwe. . #QPR "

24 hours to go!

Cheers mate, I hadn't seen this before. What spirit amongst a group of players and management. Can't imagine the same scenes tomorrow night if we win. Sad really.

Queens was saying we need to create some artificial vitriol to emulate the atmosphere mentioned in the OP. There's no genuine ill-feeling towards Wigan, you've missed the point completely HP !

Sorry Grifter I didn't just mean on this thread I've been doing a Sunday night catch up around your well used forum. Wish we had a desent Wigan forum anywhere on the interweb!

You would have to have half a brain to get the point. Always going to be lost on this geezer.

Respect for that, you are doing the right thing.

I think what irks is not the size of your club, or how big we are, its seeing so many empty seats at your stadium, which is only 25k, even for premiership games. I know it was built for rugby primarily, but it just looks bad, especially given how much the football club has achieved in the last ten years. Who knows, we could be in a similarly embarrassing position with a 40K stadium in a few years time.

Enjoy the game tomorrow, but not too much.

Your a fine one to talk mate! Where were all your supporters on Friday? The official attendance was 14,560, pretty crap for a playoff game when you take off the 3000+ that were our lot!

"But most QPR supporters reserve special ire for their West London neighbours. Chelsea singularly failed to take account of the depth of this hatred"

I'm sorry lads, I'm not with you on this one. I remember watching the game that night and commenting on here afterwards about the blokes on their feet, pink with rage, spewing pure bile at the Chelsea players when they went to take their corners and throw ins. If hatred of another football Club or their fans is what makes a QPR fan, then I'm not proud to be one.

Speaks the closet Scum fan...

I'll give you one thing Swords, you're not afraid to call it as you see it, even if it is going to be unpopular.

I may not be proud of it but I don't share your view. I enjoyed that night immensely and how we rattled them. If it spilled over into any type of violence though, I could not defend that and would be disgusted.
