I have a mate who is in the black cats bar and they do have to go to Sid James park and do not get their ticket until they are on the bus and on their way to ground
Yeh there just not with the rabble in the cheap seats wouldn’t surprise me if there inside there ground having tea and sandwiches before the bus ride

Something stinks here.

Newcastle are the richest club in the world yet dark forces at the PL have conspired to place Brighton two points ahead of them.

Newcastle are currently 9th which is ridiculous when you think Sunderland finished 7th and weren't anywhere near being the richest club in the world.

Thankfully Saturday's game is governed by the FA so they can't conspire to let Sunderland win ...

... but what if the FA are in on it <whistle>

It's a game that Newcastle HAVE to WIN no draws, no defeats.....WIN. They simply must WIN. It is EXPECTED they will WIN by EVERYONE absolutely no pressure on us at all, the MASSIVE amount of pressure is on them. It must be effecting them all because every Sunderland fan I know are as relaxed as a person getting a massage on a cruise, where as the Newcastle fans I know need extra toilet roll because they're all very quiet and ****ting themselves. Newcastle HAVE TO WIN and the WORLD is watching them.

There is understandably widespread excitement for the upcoming FA Cup game between Sunderland and Newcastle at the Stadium of Light on Saturday.

Football fans in the North East are well known for being amongst the most passionate in the country and this fixture is much-anticipated by supporters of both clubs.

Our role, and that of our wider partners – including the clubs, transport providers and local authorities – is to help ensure those attending the game can do so safely and that disruption for other members of the public is kept to a minimum.
Ever since the fixture was announced, extensive discussions have been held with all parties and a lot of work has been ongoing to facilitate the safe delivery of such a large-scale event.

As a result, all partners involved agreed to a number of conditions. This includes, in order to facilitate a 6,000 away allocation, Newcastle supporters traveling to and from the stadium on designated coaches. Without doing so, the public transport system would not be able to accommodate such a large number of supporters safely.

On the day, there will be a much larger police presence around the ground than usual and to further help accommodate the safe arrival and departure of both sets of fans police cordons will be in place.
We would therefore ask all fans to work with us to help ensure the match goes ahead without incident.

We know the overwhelming majority of supporters will follow the advice being shared by ourselves and their respective clubs and will be going to the match to enjoy the occasion.
However, we want to make it clear to anyone who is intent on using the game as an excuse to cause trouble that this will not be tolerated.

Anyone found responsible will subsequently face tough action, including criminal prosecution and being handed a football banning order.

As well as the increased police presence at the ground, we will also have additional officers in both city centres. Any disorder will be clamped down upon and those involved can expect to be arrested.
Ultimately, we want to ensure all supporters can have a safe and enjoyable time – and everyone can play their part in achieving that result.

Hope someone might be able to help put my mind at ease...

I got 2 of the "extra" tickets in the final release (my brother and my lad) but they haven`t been sent through as yet by the **** shower that is Ticketmaster...has anyone heard if any of those bought on that day have been sent out yet?

Any suggestions? As you can imagine the ticket office at the SOL aren`t answering a phone or replying to emails!
The email with the eticket was sent 10 mins after I bought two.

what happens if you bought just your own as a season ticket holder? its not showing in my wallet

I know what you are saying mate but I wouldn't describe myself as relaxed <laugh>. And I'm fairly detached from it all as well. <wah>
