Agree with this. If the investment is off and this guy is appointed on the same day it's horrific.
Does supporter appeasement not remotely matter? Or does cheapest option prevail? Love to be proved wrong but can only see it ending badly if true.

I really need to stop being so optimistic about my club / team and get more cynical / suspicious.
I jumped all over someone over the road yesterday because he accepted this appointment as truth and attacked the club.
Part of my thinking was I didn't imagine that a club potentially on the verge of a takeover NEEDING promotion this season would entertain employing him.
I hope to god its not true, because if we sign him I'll have no faith in the takeover happening.

Donald wants the cheapest option possible, Hill & Coton want someone they can control. It's as simple as that i'm afraid.

From where we were at the beginning of last season when Donald first arrived, full of hope and optimism for the future compared to this (if true) is a pretty monumental **** up even by SAFC standards.
