I haven't had a 'definite' yet but I've had 3 messages saying they believe he's already been appointed.

I can only hope he's a stand in until the Americans take control and we get serious.
If they haven't already, they may well walk away when they see this appointment.

Anyone wanting a Bolton view on Parkinson listen to John McGinley's podcast on Under the Cosh, really does not fill me full of hope, he details one instance when Parkinson called him to discuss why he thought his football was so dire.

Ill give him the benefit of the doubt but I see grim times ahead on and off the pitch, what an anti climax.
Have you a link for that?

Was told "short term deal." Assuming it means until the end of the season. Steve Parkin is with him as his assistant.

Donald is taking a big risk unless there's a takeover and a big change by the summer.

Turning down SKP could be this decade's 'Brian Clough' if Phillips goes on to succeed elsewhere.

I would have gone for Stendel, or someone with experience with SKP as assistant.

We may aswell have stuck with Ross if Parkinson takes over.
I agree with what you've said there but there's nothing to say he would have gotten us promoted this season. It's not as if we'll have much money to spend in January. Getting a center forward with pace would help any manager

Worse case scenario - Means the deal is off as I'd expect that the Americans would have no say in this appointment.
Best case scenario - The deal is still on, with a stipulation in Parkinsons contract stating that he could get the bullet if the Americans take over. However this appointment means that the takeover will not be done imminently.

Why would they say no. Its not as if they know anything about this league.

I just feel deflated mate.

I'm also starting to distrust and discredit SD.
