But it would be encouraging if our play-off rivals started to lose games
It would. I think if we win our games we will comfortably finish 4th or 5th. No more slip ups. Other teams will lose games because that's what happens in football.

After 80 minutes on Saturday I has all but given up on the play offs. Now I think we are finding ways to win and am more upbeat. The ups and downs of a fan.

I still think our recent style of football will get found out against footballing teams like MK and Oxford, but I also dont believe Neil wants to play this way in the longer term. I am expecting ups and downs for the next couple of months, but we have to do our bit and win the majority of our games and see where that lands us.

This. 24 points to play for....see where we can get to.

Oxford have to play MK, Sunderland, Rotherham, Plymouth, Ipswich ...

... lose to Sunderland and they'll collapse imo.

We pasted Wigan and Oxford are no better.

They've recently lost at Portsmouth and only beat Shrewsbury with a late penalty.

I think it would help us immensely if we could do what we did against Wigan in terms of the early goal more frequently during the run in. It would take a lot of pressure off particularly in our home games where the tension is palpable.
As poor as the football has been recently I'm encouraged by the clean sheets albeit we could have been behind on Saturday had their number 7 had been more composed in his finishing. We won't get away with that against Taylor (Oxford) Jephcott (Plymouth) or the Rotherham lads so it's important that we up our game in that sense.
