I quite enjoyed seeing them all screw up. Luckiest being Bottas (who seemed to be given his time dispite red flag) and Vettel (who went all 4 wheels off).

I 100% agree with eight of them going to the back, teach them a ruddy lesson, they wouldn't do it again, that is for sure. In reverse order, those nearest the front causing the issue should be furthest away from the front.
Le Clerc and Sainz just squeezed it so they should be 1 and 2 on the grid. There is still time to demote the others..It was a farce.

The FIA have reprimanded Hulkenberg, Stroll and Saintz!!! As they were first out of pits and played a significant roll in the Q3 road block!!!!!! OH and the other 6 cars couldn't overtake?????
Once again FIA getting wrong end of the stick. All 7 drivers who failed to get past start/finish point before red lights should be sent to back of grid. They all brought the sport into disrepute. What a farce for the people who paid good money to visit the track....
Any of them could have made a dash for it, OK so who ever did would be giving the rest of them a tow. Surely Merc could have told Bottas and Lewis to go for it as then a Merc could have had pole in Ferrari's home GP!
I am surprised at all the teams for not thinking this would happen and not having a contingency plan, maybe that was the plan to just not get a fast lap if no one else was. NUTS....... Someone needs a kicking as this will harm gate receipts and thus any deals Liberty can do with circuit promoters.

Absolute stupidity. I get it... I get the reason, but what utter ridiculousness.

Probably should have sent them all to the back to stop that happening again. That would have meant sending 2 Ferrari's back there too, and that was never going to happen here.

 

Got a feeling Bottas or Vettel will win today on the alternative strategy. The second row which neither driver should be on!

 

On THE alternative strategy or A alternative strategy? I guess arguably, this is like a 5000 or 10000 metre athletics race. Stay in the tow and be on the better tyre for the last few laps.

 

Is it my imagination or is the Ferrari Charles is being driven round the track on a German reg plate? Seems strange? is it so rare they couldn't get on in Italy?

 

If it’s all about the the tow in the race then nobody will want to be in front and eventually Carlos Sainz will get fed up and win in a time of 5 hours 27 minutes.
