Some worrying news coming out about Correa. Anthoine Hubert: Formula 2 driver Juan Manuel Correa critical but stable in induced coma - http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/motorsport/49619035
No talk of head injuries, which is good. Provided there are no paralysis issues his body should eventually heal. Whether he can or even will want to race again, only time will tell. (fingers crossed!).
They are going to have to look a track designs again. Kerbs disintegrating like, that is a worry. Some of the additions that are not inherent in the track but bolted on are just not appropriate, cheap solutions unable to withstand the force of a race car. Whether the car would have been sent skywards without the track disintegration, no idea but looks like something unpredictable would have happened. That could so easily have been a dead marshal. The FIA need to review all track additions with a renewed level of scrutiny for the remaining races, to not do so could lead to a legal case following an accident I suspect.
That is ridiculous. What a stupid place to have those herbs. Fine at chicanes to stop corner cutting, but outside of a 150moh corner!?
I seem to have voted unintentionally. I hereby state that I intended to vote for Charles and seem to have voted for Lewis, I was not even trying to vote. Must have hit the return key when the cursor was hovering over the wrong part of the screen...
That made me cringe, amazing to think he got out reasonably unscathed. How on earth could that have been allowed to happen?
